Drywall Estimator

Construction EstimatorWe are seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to prepare accurate and competitive bids for commercial interior construction projects. This role is responsible for managing the estimating process from initial plan review through final proposal, with a focus on drywall, acoustical ceilings, commercial flooring, and metal framing.The ideal candidate has experience performing quantity takeoffs, reviewing construction documents, coordinating with vendors and subcontractors, and developing detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects. This is a hands-on role for someone who can manage multiple bids, work independently, and consistently deliver accurate pricing in a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed estimates for commercial drywall, acoustical ceiling, flooring, and metal framing projects.Review construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents to determine project scope and estimating requirements.Perform accurate quantity takeoffs and calculate labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs.Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing to develop competitive project bids.Identify scope gaps, exclusions, value engineering opportunities, and potential project risks prior to bid submission.Prepare complete bid proposals and supporting documentation.Collaborate with project managers, field teams, vendors, and clients to clarify scope and project requirements.Maintain organized estimating files and documentation using estimating or project management software.Assist with project handoffs by providing estimating details and scope clarification to operations teams.
