Employee Relations Specialist

Employee Relations Specialist LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking an Employee Relations Specialist with at least 3 years of experience working in a similar role. This is a Temp opportunity, located in Queens, NY. Responsibilities: Serve as a primary point of contact for employee concerns, providing guidance and support on workplace issues and company policies Manage and resolve employee relations matters including complaints, conflicts, and performance concerns with a balanced and objective approach Conduct internal investigations related to misconduct, policy violations, or workplace complaints while ensuring thorough documentation and confidentiality Partner with HR and leadership to address workplace trends, mitigate risk, and promote a respectful and inclusive culture Provide coaching to managers on employee relations best practices, including performance management, discipline, and conflict resolution Draft and review written communications such as disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans, and investigation summaries Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as internal policies and procedures Track and analyze employee relations data to identify patterns and recommend proactive solutions Support unemployment claims, employee hearings, and other compliance-related processes as needed Assist with development and delivery of training programs related to workplace conduct, harassment prevention, and company policies Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of handling Employee Relations Work Site: Onsite Employment Type: Temp Salary: $30-40/hr Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
