Area Rare Cardiac Specialist (ARCS) - Columbus, OH

Pfizer seeks a field-based specialty sales professional to drive rare cardiac product growth through strategic healthcare provider relationships and compliant promotional activities in the Columbus region. The role requires in-person account engagement, disease-state expertise, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to improve patient access and clinical outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Drive customer engagement and sales performance through in-person interactions with cardiology accounts and multidisciplinary care teams
• Build compliant relationships with healthcare providers and office staff; deliver approved promotional and disease-state messaging
• Identify opportunities, prioritize accounts, and support patient finding and referral pathways within assigned territory
• Support patient access by providing prior authorization, reimbursement support, and co-pay information
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to address customer needs and advance rare cardiac business objectives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or associate's degree with 8+ years experience or high school diploma with 10+ years experience
• Minimum 3 years pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales, marketing, or healthcare provider experience
• Valid US driver's license compliant with company standards; no DUI/DWI within past 7 years
• 3–5 years specialty sales experience, preferably in cardiology or hospital settings
• Understanding of complex disease states, biologics, and specialty reimbursement processes
• Ability to travel and reside within workable distance of assigned territory

Compensation: $108,600–$250,700 base salary plus sales incentive bonus
