CNC Lathe Setup Specialist

You arrive on 1st shift, coffee in hand, to a clean, well-organized turning department in Kenosha, WI. Today’s first job: a new run on the CNC lathe. You load the program, dial in offsets, swap inserts, and double-check blueprints and GD&T callouts. A first-piece inspection confirms you’re on target. Throughout the day, you collaborate with production and quality teammates, troubleshoot any machining hiccups, and keep parts flowing to spec.

• Location: Kenosha, WI
• Shift: 1st Shift (4-Day Work Week)
• Pay: Up to $32/hour (Based on Experience)

• Perform end-to-end setups on CNC lathes
• Load programs and apply tool and wear offsets as needed
• Change tooling and inserts to meet process requirements
• Interpret blueprints, work instructions, and GD&T
• Complete first-article and in-process inspections
• Use precision instruments: calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Troubleshoot machining issues and uphold quality standards
• Partner closely with production and quality teams

• Hands-on experience setting up CNC lathes
• Comfort with Fanuc controls (preferred)
• Ability to read prints and apply GD&T
• Skilled with offsets, tooling, and insert changes
• Strong quality focus and attention to detail
• Reliable, positive, and eager to keep learning

• Up to $30/hour
• 4-day work week
