Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in the PCU/step-down unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Accurately monitor telemetry, interpret ECG rhythms, and manage care during life-threatening emergencies.
- Administer prescribed medications and therapies; monitor patient responses and adverse effects.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and supervise/delegate tasks to ancillary personnel within scope of practice.
- Document care thoroughly and maintain safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance; educate patients and families as appropriate.

Requirements
- Active RN license in good standing (state of California preferred for this assignment).
- Ability to work nights; 12-hour shifts; 3x per week.
- BLS certification required; ACLS as requested by the unit or facility.
- Experience in telemetry or a step-down/acute care environment is preferred.
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills; ability to adapt quickly to a new care setting.
