Responsibilities
- Plan and provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the step-down unit.
- Accurately interpret ECG rhythms and manage care during life-threatening emergencies.
- Monitor patient status, respond to changes, and adjust care as needed.
- Administer medications and treatments per orders; assess patient responses.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to ancillary personnel commensurate with their scope of practice.
- Collaborate with the interprofessional team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California
- Ability to interpret ECG rhythms and respond to emergencies
- Minimum 1 year of acute care/step-down or similar high-acuity experience preferred
- Ability to work three 12-hour night shifts per week
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; capable of functioning effectively in a fast-paced unit
