Accounting Coordinator

Client: Well-Known Company Role: Accounting Clerk / Junior Accountant Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire Location: Elizabeth, NJ – Hybrid Pay Rate: $31/hour Start Date: ASAP Position Overview My client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk / Junior Accountant to join their growing finance team. This contract-to-hire opportunity is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in accounting. In this role, you\'ll support inventory-related accounts payable functions, ensuring vendor invoices are accurately processed through three-way matching (purchase orders, receiving documents, and invoices) while working closely with procurement, warehouse, and finance teams. Key Responsibilities Perform three-way matching of purchase orders, receiving documents, and vendor invoices. Process and reconcile inventory-related invoices. Support accounts payable and general accounting functions. Research and resolve invoice discrepancies with vendors and internal teams. Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documentation. Assist with account reconcilations and month-end close. Enter accounting data into the ERP/accounting system. Provide general accounting and administrative support. Qualifications 1+ years of accounting, accounts payable, or bookkeeping experience. Experience with three-way matching and inventory invoices preferred. Basic understanding of accounting principles. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
