Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions for clients grappling with substance use disorders, focusing on therapeutic techniques tailored to their needs.

• Provide case management services, including psychosocial assessments, crisis intervention, and treatment planning, to ensure comprehensive care for each client.
\n
• Actively monitor and evaluate clients’ progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary and documenting outcomes in accordance with regulatory standards.

• Engage with the Practitioner team to identify potential risks in client behaviors and collaboratively develop strategies for de-escalation and emergency intervention when needed.

• Lead discussions on safeguarding concerns, ensuring that any identified risks are reported and addressed in compliance with organizational policies.

• Stay abreast of current safeguarding practices, embedding them into daily service delivery and identifying solutions for any implementation challenges.

• Collect feedback from clients and their families to improve service quality and make recommendations for changes to enhance treatment efficacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients we serve at Altura Counseling Center primarily deal with substance use disorders, including both alcohol and drug dependency. You will work with a diverse range of patients, including children, adolescents, and adults, addressing their unique challenges and helping them navigate their recovery journeys. Qualifications\n

• Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid LCSW licensure required.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience working in a behavioral health environment, particularly with substance use treatment.

• Proficient in taking comprehensive psychosocial histories and performing clinical assessments as part of the evaluation process.

• Knowledge of interview techniques, suicide risk assessments, and forensic evaluations to identify clients' needs effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in a detox or substance abuse treatment facility is highly desirable.
