Accounts Payable Specialist

LIGHTING SERVICES, INC. (LSI) is hiring a permanent, full-time Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Twinsburg, OH. Your role will be: Process high-volume invoices, including vendor and subcontractor billings. Review and verify invoices for accuracy, approvals, and proper job cost coding. Manage subcontractor payments, including lien waivers, insurance compliance, and W-9 documentation. Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices (3‑way matching). Maintain organized records of all AP transactions and supporting documentation. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Assist with month‑end close, including accruals and AP aging analysis. Collaborate with project managers and accounting staff to ensure accurate job costing. Ensure compliance with company policies and audit standards. Support year‑end processes, including 1099 preparation. Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills. Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field, OR equivalent work experience and/or education. 2+ years of accounts payable experience, preferably in a nation‑wide construction or project‑based environment. Experience with ERP/accounting systems (e.g., Foundation, Sage, Viewpoint or similar).
