Pay Rate: $25/hr on W2
Schedule: Monday-Friday, Overtime Available
Shift: Initially 8:30 AM-5:00 PM or 9:00 AM-5:30 PM, transitioning to Swing Shift (11:00 AM-7:30 PM)
Job Summary
We are seeking a Maintenance Technician I to support manufacturing operations through equipment troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, repairs, and facility maintenance activities. The ideal candidate will have experience maintaining manufacturing equipment, mechanical systems, electrical systems, and facility infrastructure in a GMP-regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and maintenance requests.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders in CMMS.
- Support continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
- Perform equipment installations, modifications, and upgrades.
- Follow GMP, GDP, SOP, EHS, and safety regulations.
- Assist with spare parts inventory management.
- Support manufacturing uptime through root cause analysis and troubleshooting.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 2-5 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing environments.
- Experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and P&IDs.
- Experience with preventive maintenance programs.
- Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), PPE, and industrial safety practices.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work overtime and swing shifts.
Preferred Qualifications
- GMP/cGMP or medical device manufacturing experience.
- CMMS or Maximo experience.
- PLC troubleshooting experience.
- HVAC, compressed air, chillers, pumps, and facility systems experience.
- Experience with Allen Bradley, Siemens, or Omron PLCs.
- SCADA, EMS, or BMS experience.
