Job Title: Maintenance Technician I

Duration: 06 months contract

Location: Hayward, CA (Onsite)

Pay rate: $25/hr

Schedule: Monday–Friday; initial day shift (8:30/9:00 AM–5:00/5:30 PM), transitioning to swing shift (approximately 11:00 AM–7:30 PM), with overtime as needed.

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician I to support manufacturing operations through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and equipment/facility support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing and facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, HVAC, motors, pumps, and control systems.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, mechanical drawings, and part diagrams.
• Document maintenance activities in CMMS/Maximo and follow GMP/GDP requirements.
• Follow all EHS, LOTO, PPE, and safety procedures.
• Support equipment installations, upgrades, continuous improvement, and root-cause analysis.

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of maintenance experience in automated manufacturing preferred.
• Strong mechanical and basic electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with PLCs, VFDs, motors, sensors, pneumatics, hydraulics, HVAC, and manufacturing/packaging equipment.
• CMMS/Maximo experience preferred.
• cGMP/GMP experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom environment and lift up to 50 lbs.
