We are looking to hire an Inside Sales Representative  in   the city of North Hollywood, CA.  This is a Temporary Contract  opportunity to join our Sales department!

Pay: $35.00/hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm; (Onsite)

Contract: 6- Months (Potential for extension)

Position Summary:

Our client is seeking a temporary Inside Sales / Customer Service Representative to support its Sales Department in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone with experience in inside sales support, customer service, and order management who enjoys working cross-functionally to deliver exceptional customer support.

The ideal candidate will have experience preparing customer quotes, processing orders, resolving customer concerns, and coordinating with Engineering, Operations, Production, Quality, and Finance to ensure timely communication and successful order fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day customer support throughout the quote-to-order fulfillment process.
• Prepare and process customer quotations, bids, and sales orders.
• Review customer orders for pricing, lead times, shipping requirements, credit terms, and quality requirements.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding order status, production schedules, deliveries, and product availability.
• Investigate and resolve customer concerns while providing timely and professional communication.
• Partner with Engineering, Production, Quality, Operations, and Supply Chain to resolve customer issues and provide order updates.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers while delivering a high level of service.
• Maintain accurate customer records and sales data using Microsoft Office and internal systems.
• Assist the Finance team with customer payment follow-up and collection activities as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in Inside Sales, Sales Support, Customer Service, or Account Coordination.
• Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred.
• Experience preparing customer quotes and processing sales orders.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience working with ERP systems and manufacturing processes is a plus.
• Understanding of BOM (Bill of Materials) structures and production planning is preferred.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Engineering, Finance, or a related field preferred (or equivalent work experience).
