Director, Business Development

What we do is profoundly connected to saving and improving lives, and we recognize our team members are the most valuable asset in delivering success.We are here to help you grow, to give you the skills and opportunities to excel at work with the flexibility and balance your life requires.Your ideas influence the way we work, and your voice matters here.As an essential part of our team, you help us deliver the medical innovation that patients are desperate for.Join us and build your future here.What you'll be doing: Identifies, qualifies and secures client meetings for potential business opportunities related to projects requiring clinical research and consulting services both for target and exploratory accountsObtains Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and assists in proposal development and facilitates presentations at client site as requiredSecures contract awards based on above efforts and sales targets and assists with maintaining client satisfaction by monitoring and assisting with change orders related to current contractsProvides project team support as appropriateWhat we are searching for:Bachelor's degree in scientific discipline (MBA preferred)Minimum of three years direct experience in consultative sales (preferably in CRO or related service industry)Familiarity with pharmaceutical drug development and/or medical device development processesPreferred Location: West Coast Ability to perform overnight business travel, up to 60%Premier Research is dedicated to providing compensation that is fair and competitive with market standards. The annualized starting base pay for this role is $145,000.00 USD. The actual salary will be influenced based on a variety of factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.
