Leasing AgentThe Leasing Agent is the property's sales representative whose primary duties are to greet prospects, to present professionally the features and benefits of their assigned community and property, and secure lease agreements from qualified persons. A Leasing Agent is service oriented and strives to make current residents and prospective residents feel welcome and comfortable in their community.Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:Conducts all business in accordance with company policies and procedures, Fair Housing, Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and all other laws pertaining to apartmentsMaintain a professional, but friendly atmosphere in the leasing office and throughout the communityInspects models and "market ready" vacancies dailyAnswers incoming phone calls and handles each call professionallyGreet prospective residents, determine their needs and preferences, and professionally present community and show apartments suitable to the prospect's needs while communicating features and benefitsMaintain daily property advertising materialsAccurately and promptly complete all paperwork related to prospective applications and leasesAccept rents and depositsHelps to ensure the physical well-being and curb appeal of the apartment communityQualifications:Positions requires good leasing and closing skills and have at least 2 years of selling experiencePerson must be able to type 30 WPMPrefer at least 2 years of customer servicePerson must be organizedProficient in both English and SpanishFull job description can be found in the below attachment.
