Operational Service Assistant

Job description:

IBT is looking for a professional, organized candidate to join our Bedford Park Illinois team. Do you know your way around the Chicago Rails? Do you feed off high-energy environments and like to jump right into a job? This is the position for you!

Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities:

• Audit IBT trucking movements and transfer validated charges from operational systems to the Global TMS
• Collaborate with Dispatch and Accounting teams to support customer communications, including scheduling door appointments and providing email updates
• Assist in preparing and delivering reports required by management and customers

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Experience in trucking, transportation, or logistics environments
• Familiarity with Transportation Management Systems (TMS)

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of intermodal/trucking or transportation experience preferred
