Senior Services Assistant

Bensenville Park District is seeking a Senior Services Assistant to join our team to assist in the coordination and implementation of senior programs, trips, and other duties as assigned.
DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Coordinate, setup, and supervise programs, trips, and various activities for our senior participants
• Coordinate Lunch Bunch Bingo, call numbers, and assist in setting up and breaking down Senior Events such as Bingo Prize table, tablecloth, bingo cards, and other tasks as assigned
• Provide itemized receipts following all trips/outings
• Assist with submitting written reports, attendance sheets, accident reports, and receipts when applicable
• Chaperone on all assigned trips
• Demonstrate and support all park district customer service policies
• Maintain order and enforce rules during programs, trips, and activities
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor

• Demonstrated quality customer service
• Experience working with Seniors preferred
• Senior programming experience preferred
• Ability to handle a variety of tasks/situations at once
• Ability to perform patiently and courteously
• Must have high school diploma or equivalent
• Meet the minimum age requirement of at list 21 years of age
• Must be certified or willing to attain certification in CPR & First Aid within 90 days
