Job Title Physical Therapist - Outpatient Location Palm Beach Gardens Facility Palm Beach Gardens Department Physical Therapy-Weston Hospital Shift Day/Evening Rotation Schedule 8:30am-5:00pm / 10:30am-7:00pm Job Summary Join Cleveland Clinic Florida Palm Beach Gardens' team of caregivers committed to providing patient-centered healthcare. As a Physical Therapist, you will utilize a variety of exercises to help patients increase strength, range of motion, endurance, and coordination. You will build strong relationships with patients and their families, delivering sensitivity and support to help them regain health. Work Hours A caregiver in this position works PRN from 7:45am – 4:00pm or 10:00am – 6:15pm. The primary coverage location is Palm Beach Gardens. Will require 1-2 evening shifts with an anticipated 20-30+ hours per week of coverage based on staff PTO/LOA/patient volumes. Availability around holiday weeks is expected. Responsibilities Evaluate and conduct medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs. Interpret plans and supervise patient treatments in accordance with the physician referral, ensuring care, safety, and wellbeing of the patient. Review and evaluate the patient's response or lack thereof to treatment. Make recommendations to the physician relative to the need to continue or discontinue physical therapy treatment. Provide appropriate documentation of each patient visit in accordance with departmental policies and procedures. Be responsible for the maintenance and care of all equipment and apparatus. Be responsible for the economical use of supplies, linens and utilities. Provide appropriate billing for each patient visit in accordance with departmental policies and procedures. Assist in on-the-job training of all ancillary personnel. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or certificate Graduate of a Physical Therapy Program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association or a related international degree Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) Internship experience Preferred Qualifications Experience in Occupational Therapy or Rehab Experience in an acute-care setting Personal Protective Equipment Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures.
