Location: Corona, NY 11368 (100% On-Site)

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay: $75,000 – $150,000 / year

Position Overview

CityWide Container Service is hiring an Office Controller with a construction background to manage our daily accounting operations in QuickBooks and report directly to company ownership. This is a 100% on-site role in Corona, NY managing daily cash reporting, A/P, A/R, and operational cost controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily Cash Reporting: Run morning cash flow review meetings with ownership covering cash position, A/P, A/R, and expenses.
• Accounting Operations: Manage full-cycle accounting in QuickBooks, including A/P, A/R, general ledger, job costing, and month-end close.
• Collections & Cash Flow: Oversee contractor billing cycles and manage A/R aging to maintain cash flow.
• Expense Control: Track operating expenses, equipment costs, and vendor liabilities to control overhead.
• External Accounts: Handle banking relationships, line-of-credit obligations, and tax/CPA filings.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: 3+ years of accounting or controller experience at a construction, general contracting, trade subcontracting, or waste/carting company.
• Software: Hands-on experience with QuickBooks for full-cycle accounting and cash reporting.
• Schedule & Location: On-site in Corona, NY from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
• Environment: Comfortable working directly with business owners in an active, operational environment.
