Small Group Account Manager - Employee Health & Benefits

About the Role Marsh McLennan Agency Midwest is expanding its Employee Health & Benefits team. As an Account Manager, you will ensure successful client service delivery, build strong relationships, understand needs, negotiate coverage, and manage proposals and renewals. Responsibilities Ensure successful delivery of services to clients. Build strong relationships, understand client needs, and negotiate coverage. Manage proposals and renewals. Maintain accurate client information and foster a collaborative service experience. Qualifications 3+ years of prior insurance experience with employee benefit products. Experience negotiating contracts, leading renewal meetings, and presenting at open enrollment meetings. Self‑starter, highly organized, strong time‑management skills. Detail‑oriented with a focus on accuracy. Proficient with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and agency management systems. Ability to interpret complex documents such as insurance policies, applications, and proposals. Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑energy team while maintaining a positive attitude. Preferred: Life & Health license, BS/BA in business or related field, professional insurance designation, experience with Applied Epic, willingness to travel. Salary The applicable base salary range for this role is $64,700 to $120,400.
