Job DetailsJob Location: Spine St. Marys - St. Marys, GA 31558Front Desk Receptionist – Spine & Pain Management Location: St. Marys, GA- Coastal Health Job Type: Full-Time We are seeking a friendly, professional, and dependable Front Desk Receptionist to join our Coastal Health Spine & Pain team in St. Marys, GA. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service while helping ensure the front office runs efficiently and patients feel welcomed and cared for. Responsibilities Greet and check in patients in a friendly and professional manner Check patients in and out and verify demographic and insurance information Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with questions or direct calls appropriately Collect copays, deductibles, and other patient payments Obtain and maintain accurate patient information and documentation Assist with insurance verification and authorization processes as needed Communicate effectively with clinical staff, providers, and patients Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines Keep the front desk and waiting area organized and professional Assist with medical records, referrals, forms, and other administrative duties Provide excellent customer service and help create a positive patient experience Qualifications Previous medical office or front desk experience preferred Experience in a specialty or pain management practice is a plus Strong customer service and communication skills Professional and friendly demeanor Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced medical office Comfortable using computers and electronic medical record systems Knowledge of insurance verification and medical terminology is preferred Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and professionalism at all times Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic What We’re Looking For We are looking for someone who is compassionate, dependable, team-oriented, and comfortable working directly with patients.
