Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a School Social Worker for a maternity leave coverage starting January and possibly continuing through June. This role involves working closely with educators, students, and families to provide essential social-emotional support and advocacy, empowering students to thrive academically and personally. The position is based near Bellevue, MI, offering up to 40 hours per week, with a preference for onsite engagement but some flexibility for virtual options as needed.

What we’re seeking:

• Valid School Social Worker certification (full cert required)
• Experience in school-based social work, including counseling, intervention planning, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Demonstrated ability to build rapport with students from diverse backgrounds and address their social and emotional needs
• Familiarity with IEPs, behavioral intervention strategies, and state/educational compliance
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to start in January and commit through April, with potential extension through June
• Must verify credentials via the Michigan Department of Education’s public credential search
