Account Executive, VAD - Pennsylvania/New Jersey

VAD Account Executive Abbott’s Heart Failure (HF) business is developing solutions to diagnose, monitor & manage heart failure. As a VAD Account Executive, you’ll work with hospitals to sell our Driveline Supply services, external equipment, and remote patient monitoring services. Responsibilities Ensure overall growth for assigned territory by meeting or exceeding defined New Driveline, Equipment, and Digital adoption goals. Focus on depth penetration within key customer opportunities as defined by company goals using compelling and influential sales conversations. Apply Integrity Selling to help key customers understand their needs and quickly move toward customer goals. Initiate compelling clinical, evidence-based, and business-based sales conversations with all customer call points regarding Acelis Connected Health service offerings. Provide consultative insight into professional practices and efficiencies using data management. Maintain consistency, proficiency, and accuracy in daily use of operating systems (Salesforce.com, Concur, Outlook). Work with multiple internal functional areas (Marketing, Sales, Clinical/Training, Operations) for growth planning and coordination. Provide professional consultative reports to build collaborative, results-oriented relationships with key customers and patient educational resources. Use sales and negotiating experience to overcome barriers to adoption of prospective customers, driving remote monitoring program development and expansion. Provide simple service and product presentation demonstrations as needed. Maintain courteous and respectful working relationships with all sales and service partners and teammates. Maintain professional relationship with manufacturer representatives. Follow all regulatory policies, procedures, privacy, and security standards in accordance with government agencies including HIPAA requirements. Participate in development opportunities and ongoing training. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or Business School certification or 1–3 years of related experience in Medical, DME, or Pharmaceutical. Ability to make decisions while following company procedures and governmental guidelines. Ability to utilize available time to organize and complete work within deadlines. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Critical thinking and reasoning skills to solve problems. Attendance at job-related courses & seminars as required. Ability to use relevant equipment required for job functions. Willingness to travel as required. Organizational and project management skills. Ability to lift 15–20 pounds. Preferred Qualifications Experience with extensive travel (position requires 80% travel). Experience with Acelis Connected Health or Abbott. Experience with mainstream office software (MS Windows, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel). Experience with Salesforce.com. Detail oriented. Persuasive and influential. Sales skills & aptitude. Professional demeanor via phone and in person. Strong computer/software skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
