Senior Program Manager

Role Description

• Lead business-side execution for core admin transformation across all operational domains, serving as the primary point of coordination between business leaders, IT, and system integrators (migration from IKA to QNXT).
• Drive integrated business planning, milestone tracking, dependencies, and readiness activities across enrollment, billing, claims, provider, finance, and shared services.
• Partner with operational leaders to translate future-state processes into clear requirements, design decisions, and adoption plans; avoid “lift-and-shift” approaches.
• Manage cross-functional risks, issues, and decisions; escalate when needed with clear options and recommendations.
• Drive business readiness activities including change management, training coordination, cutover planning, parallel runs, and post-go-live stabilization.
• Provide clear executive-level updates on progress, risks, and readiness across business workstreams.
• Work in close collaboration with Program PMO to manage milestones, dependencies, risks, and critical path business deliverables.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years of related experience (HEALTH PLAN experience).
• Disqualifiers: clinical or pharmacy operations ONLY.
• 10+ years leading complex, cross-functional business programs in healthcare insurance.
• Bachelor's Degree (preferred).
• PMP certification (required).
• Proven experience serving as a business lead for large-scale system implementations or core platform transformations.
• End-to-end QNXT implementation experience is required.
• Strong understanding of operational domains such as Enrollment, Claims, Billing, Provider Operations, Clinical, Fulfillment, and Finance.
• Strong executive communication, judgment, and decision-management skills.
• Must possess strong presentation skills.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Long Beach, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $115.50 - $120.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
