Job Description
Title: Primary Care Medical Assistant

Schedule:
- Monday-Friday, 07:30-16:00 (5x8)

Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience in an adult outpatient/internal medicine clinic.
- Recent experience required (worked in this setting within the last 6 months).
- BLS certification required.
- Experience with EPIC charting is mandatory.
- Preferred: MA-C license; MA-R accepted only with prior experience in a similar setting.
- Key clinical skills include: vital signs, rooming patients, 12-lead EKG, venipuncture, specimen collection, point-of-care testing, immunizations, and telephone triage.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Room patients and manage flow within the clinic.
- Conduct routine procedures such as immunizations and Medicare wellness exams.
- Collect and process various specimens, including blood and urine.
- Provide patient education and perform required tests as directed.
- Assist with administrative tasks including pharmacy refill calls.

Compliance / Notes:
- Required documents: Current license, copies of certifications, references, and possible proof of address.
- Candidate must have recent clinic experience within the last 6 months.
