Security Officer Patrol Agent in Shepherdsville, KY Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Tue: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Wed: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Thu: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Fri: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including offices, common areas, entry points, and perimeter locations, to help deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site protocols, assisting with badge checks, direction, and reporting of security-related concerns. Support daily operations by observing the location for policy violations, equipment issues, and/or suspicious behavior, then escalating concerns through the proper chain of communication. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
