Position Security Officer Patrol Duty - Shepherdsville, KY Position Type Full Time Pay Rate $17.25 / Hour Schedule Mon 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM Tue 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM Wed 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM Thur 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM Fri 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including business areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter spaces to help deter unwanted activity. Monitor access points, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to the appropriate personnel. Support daily operations by observing site conditions, assisting with directions and general questions, and completing routine reports related to security activities. Minimum Requirements At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. Be at least 21 years of age. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
