We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in New York State public construction projects and Wicks Law compliance to join our team.Job DescriptionManage all phases of construction projects, including pre-construction, bidding, construction, and project closeout.Oversee projects governed by New York State Wicks Law and coordinate multiple prime contractors, including General Construction, HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing trades.Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, risk registers, and reporting requirements.Facilitate project meetings with owners, architects, engineers, contractors, and governmental agencies.Review and manage contractor schedules, submittals, RFIs, change orders, payment applications, and contract compliance.Monitor project progress, quality control, safety performance, and regulatory compliance.Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.Ensure compliance with New York State labor laws, prevailing wage requirements, MWBE participation goals, and public procurement regulations.Prepare and present project status reports to clients and senior leadership.Coordinate project inspections, punch lists, commissioning activities, and final project closeout documentation.Foster strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
