INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY MANAGER II

Work Location: Sacramento County Job Description And Duties Under administrative direction of the Department’s Chief Information Officer, the Information Technology Manager II (ITM II) serves as a senior leader responsible for strategic direction, oversight, and operational management of multiple enterprise-level IT functions, including the Service Desk, Enterprise Architecture, IT Acquisitions & Budget, and ServiceNow Support. The incumbent ensures high-quality customer service, efficient IT operations, alignment with statewide technology standards, and delivery of reliable enterprise services. This role provides leadership to multidisciplinary teams, sets priorities, manages resources, and ensures compliance with policies, laws, and industry best practices. This recruitment is being conducted in anticipation of budget approval. Final hiring is contingent upon approval of funding.
