With a keen focus on Customer Experience, this role is responsible for leading a team of managers and professionals, focused on the transformation of our OTC & SLM operations, leveraging our business technologies to realize best-in-class system performance, and driving optimized fulfillment of customer orders across Generac’s global organization.Major Responsibilities:Leverages feedback from internal/external stakeholders and metrics to identify opportunities for continuous improvement for order management and the OTC & SLM work streams globallyPartners with stakeholders to translate business requirements into systems solutionsDesigns and directs the work of the functional areaSelects, coaches and develops the team, setting objectives that align with company strategy to inspire and motivate the teamManages organizational talent through performance management, succession planning and developmentDesigns and directs processes by which team and individual performance are recognized, feedback is consistently delivered and performance is systematically improvedParticipates in cross-functional, global planning meetings with decision makers, systems owners, project teams and others to define business requirements and goals to identify and resolve issues with scalable, sustainable solutionsDrives standardization where possible across all business verticalsEnsures that orders are managed with a high level of accuracyImplements and measures pre-set metrics to utilize in team evaluation, training and performance standardsDevelops and utilizes reporting to effectively measure performance, drive accountability, and recommends opportunities for improvementMinimum Job RequirementsEducationBachelor Degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or equivalent experienceWork Experience7 years of OTC experience with leading ERP system5 years progressive leadership experienceKnowledge / Skills / AbilitiesIn depth knowledge of end to end OTC business processes including areas such as Order Management, Order Fulfillment, Invoice Management and Inventory Segmentation and Management-Strong attention to detail, outstanding analytical skills, and exceptional communication/interpersonal skillsDesire to seek out improvement opportunities from both a process and system standpointAbility to drive results in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment, can comfortably handle risk and uncertaintyStrong cross-functional collaborator, team player, highly motivated with an upbeat personality and a positive attitudeExcellent decision-making skills with a customer focusHas a global mindset and can communicate effectively across a global organization Builds constructive and effective relationships across all levels of the organizationPreferred Job RequirementsEducationMasters degree in Business or related fieldWork ExperiencePrior experience supporting or leading merger and acquisition integration activities for OTCExtensive experience using Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and PowerPointPrior participation in process mapping and continuous improvement activitiesOffice Environment:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls.
