Job Summary:
North Carolina-based Surgical Technician / Operating Room Technician position in Concord. The role involves supporting a high-volume operating room with a focus on neuro spine procedures. Candidates must have recent and comprehensive experience in neuro spine surgical cases and be able to start promptly. The position requires a minimum of five years of experience in surgical technology and specific expertise in complex surgical procedures.

Job Details:

• Shift: Days, 12-hour shifts
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours

• Required Qualifications: 5 years of experience as a Surgical Technician, current BLS certification, neuro spine procedural experience, and ability to scrub in on trauma, ortho trauma, ortho total joints, spine, cardiac, vascular, gynecological, robotic, general, HPB, bariatrics, urology, ENT, ophthalmology, pain management, and plastics cases.
• Preferred Qualifications: Certification is preferred but not required.
• Floating: No floating required
• Additional Information:
  The facility features 19 operating rooms with a high case volume, including trauma, orthopedic trauma, spine, and robotic surgeries. Candidates must be proficient in sterile technique and support within the surgical department. The environment emphasizes a collaborative OR culture with structured orientation and weekend work every 4th weekend. Holiday work is expected at 75%. The schedule operates on a 6-week cycle, with the possibility of on-call shifts requiring a 45-minute response time.
