Accounting Manager

Accounting Manager

Our client in Charlotte, North Carolina is looking to hire an Accounting Manager. This is a permanent position and the client is paying up a salary in the $80K to $100K range.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive improvement in business performance through effective cost control, monitoring and reporting systems, with particular emphasis on cost accounting and systems implementations
  • Deliver accurate and timely financial reports including monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports.
  • Evaluate all financial systems and procedures and implement changes and improvements to increase accuracy, control and timely reporting.
  • Implement processes for establishing, monitoring and reporting on performance against KPIs (operational and financial);
  • Supervise accounting staff to ensure the accurate and timely production of all financial information, and monthly closing processes.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting or related field
  • CPA or CMA strongly preferred
  • 5-7 years or progressive experience
  • ERP system implementation experience and strong EXCEL skills
