Project & Business Analyst – HR & Learning Tech 

Are you an experienced Business Analyst or Project Analyst with a background in HR technology and enterprise software implementations? We are looking for a skilled Contractor Project & Business Analyst to bridge the gap between our business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to drive successful system rollouts, operational readiness, and go-to-market initiatives.

What You’ll Do

• Project Support: Facilitate project planning, workstream coordination, status tracking, decision logs, and risk/issue mitigation.

• Requirements & Process Design: Gather, refine, and document business and technical requirements, process flows, standard operating procedures, and governance materials.

• Testing Leadership: Coordinate end-to-end testing activities, including UAT execution, test case creation, defect tracking, and configuration validation.

• Data & Analytics: Support KPI tracking, data validation, and report building to measure implementation success.

• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams across HR, Workforce Development, IT, and implementation partners to ensure seamless operational readiness, change management, and training support.

What You Bring

• Experience: 2+ years of experience in project management, business analysis, or systems analysis supporting large-scale enterprise software implementations.

• Technical & Analytical Expertise: Proven track record in requirements gathering, process mapping, technical documentation, and leading UAT/defect resolution.

• Domain Knowledge: Hands-on experience with HR systems, learning technologies (LMS, LXP), talent, or workforce development platforms.

• Communication: Exceptional organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to effectively translate technical details for business teams and vice versa.

• Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery frameworks.

salary: $30.8 - $35.8 per hour

Responsibilities

• Support project planning, execution, status tracking, and workstream coordination.
• Gather, document, and manage business and system requirements.
• Maintain project documentation, process flows, governance materials, operating procedures, and decision logs.
• Lead and coordinate testing activities, including UAT, test case development, defect tracking, and validation.
• Track risks, issues, dependencies, decisions, and action items.
• Support reporting, KPI development, and data validation efforts.
• Coordinate activities across HR, Workforce Development, IT, business stakeholders, vendors, and implementation partners.
• Support communications, training, change management, and operational readiness efforts.
• Assist with system implementation, configuration validation, integrations testing, and production readiness activities.
