Equal Opportunity Employer: All qualified candidates will receive consideration for all positions without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex (including pregnancy), sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran status, disability, genetic information, or other non-merit factor.Job DescriptionCoordinate all defined equipment mobilization requirements in support of the OPG Operations and OPG Projects Department at the OII Dock.ResponsibilitiesReads and understand proceduresReads and understand engineering drawingsPlans and coordinate premobilization activities with PM and EngineersAssists PM/Engineers with deck layoutsCoordinates 3rd party services at the dock (welders, mobile cranes and NDT)Conducts mobilization planning with PM/OMSets up trucking schedules with PM/OM for mobilizations, demobilizations and pre/post mobilization activitiesDirects loading/offloading of trucks during mob/demobilizationInterfaces with project stakeholdersGenerates EMO's and sign work ordersSigns off on proceduresPerforms preventative maintenance on equipment stored at dockOperates forkliftDirects rigging/crane and welding operationsInventories/checks in job related equipment at the dockCoordinates proper hand over with opposite on shift changeWorks seven day/12 hour shifts at OII DockQualificationsPREFERREDTwo (2) to three (3) years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).Working ConditionsIncludes exposure to contaminantsRequires working in very hot (above 90 F degrees) or very cold (below 32 F degrees) temperaturesIncludes exposure to sounds and noise levels that are distracting or uncomfortableJob tasks are performed in close physical proximity to other peopleRequires working indoors in non-controlled environmental conditionsBenefits StatementWe offer a comprehensive and competitive benefits package.
