Facilities Assistant III Northridge, CA Full time – Temp to hire Monday through Friday – 8am to 5pm $30hr to $33hr depending on experience. A company regarded by commercial, government, military, and scientific communities as one of the world’s pre-eminent suppliers of high-precision antenna positioning systems and components for a vast array of antenna, optical and sensor systems is seeking a Facilities Assistant III to join their team in Northridge. Summary: The Facilities Assistant supports the cleanliness, safety, and basic maintenance of our buildings. This role combines custodial responsibilities with light maintenance and repair tasks. Responsibilities: Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas. Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors. Empty trash and recycling and ensure proper disposal. Restock supplies. (soap, paper towels, toilet paper, cups, silverware, napkins, etc.) Maintain overall cleanliness and organization of facilities. Perform basic repairs. Replacing light bulbs and fixtures. Minor plumbing fixes. (e.g., unclogging toilets, tightening fixtures) Basic painting and touch-ups. Adjusting doors, handles, and hardware. Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs. Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner. Coordinate with outside vendors for repairs beyond scope. Qualifications: Prior custodial, janitorial, or maintenance experience preferred. Basic knowledge of tools and general repair work. Ability to troubleshoot minor facility issues independently. Strong attention to detail and time management skills. Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
