This role ensures a high-quality, consistent, and welcoming experience for members and guests by leading daily service, managing staff, and maintaining the club’s standards of hospitality. The Grille Manager plays a key role in creating a vibrant, efficient, and member-focused dining environment.Key ResponsibilitiesMember Experience & Service ExecutionDeliver a warm, attentive, and personalized dining experience for members and guestsMaintain a strong floor presence during all service periods (lunch, dinner, and peak club events)Recognize member preferences and build lasting relationshipsAddress and resolve service issues quickly and professionallyGrille OperationsOversee daily operations of the grille room, patio dining, and all member dining spacesManage reservations, waitlists, and table turns to optimize flow of serviceEnsure proper opening and closing procedures are followedMaintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of all FOH dining areasTeam Leadership & DevelopmentRecruit, train, schedule, and supervise servers and support staffLead daily pre-shift meetings, communicating menu features, events, and service prioritiesCoach staff on service standards, upselling techniques, and member engagementFoster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented work environmentCoordination with Culinary TeamWork closely with the Executive Chef and kitchen team to ensure smooth service executionCommunicate menu changes, specials, and service timing expectationsEvent & Club Activity SupportSupport club events, golf tournaments, and social functions as neededEnsure grille service aligns with daily club activities and member traffic patternsAssist with dining service execution during high-volume club eventsAdministrative & Financial OversightCreate and manage staff schedules based on forecasted business levelsMonitor labor costs and productivity within budget guidelinesOversee POS accuracy and daily service reportingManage FOH supplies including linens, table settings, and service equipmentCompliance & StandardsEnsure compliance with health and safety regulationsMaintain high standards for staff appearance, service etiquette, and professionalismEnforce all club policies and procedures consistentlyQualifications2–5+ years of restaurant or private club management experience (grille or casual fine dining preferred)Strong leadership and communication skillsProven ability to manage high-volume service while maintaining qualityKnowledge of food service standards and dining room operationsExperience with POS systems and scheduling softwareAvailability to work evenings, weekends, and holidaysCore CompetenciesMember Engagement & Relationship BuildingService LeadershipTeam Development & AccountabilityAttention to DetailEfficiency & Service Flow ManagementProblem Solving Under PressureArcis Golf provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.Arcis participates in E-Verify, the government program that certifies an employee's right to work for us in the U.S. #J-18808-Ljbffr
