Litigation Paralegal

Trustpoint.One is pleased to be partnering with a dynamic global corporation in their search for a Temporary Senior Litigation Paralegal to work with them onsite in Palo Alto. We are looking for a skilled litigation paralegal with exclusive focus on insurance and energy-related litigation matters. The successful candidate will be able to provide assistance during high stakes litigation including assisting with discovery and eDiscovery workflows, preparing for hearings and trial. This is an onsite role located in Palo Alto. Responsibilities Draft pleadings and motions and file them with the court via e-filing Maintain pleadings and discovery indexes Coordinate document collection from internal systems Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs and appendices Aid attorneys with interrogatories and other discovery requests Manage document review platforms, including Relativity and Logikcull Gather relevant information from a variety of sources Prepare for hearings, mediation and trial Skills Proven working experience as a litigation paralegal in the areas of insurance defense and/or energy litigation Applicable knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules and procedures and practices Highly organized with ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong writing and communication skills along with attention to detail Extensive computer and database expertise, including utilizing Lexis, e-filing, PACER Key Details Physical Requirements: Must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily with reasonable accommodations Work is generally performed sitting, talking, hearing, and typing This is a high-volume screen-based role, requiring constant, prolonged computer usage, including but not limited to: reviewing documents, managing visual content, and attending virtual meetings Visual acuity required for computer use, data analysis, and extended reading Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing and document handling Occasional standing, walking, bending, and reaching Ability to lift and carry items weighting up to 30 pounds Equal Employment Opportunity Statement Trustpoint provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type.
