Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Compensation Salary Range: $50,000 $54,000 per year Location: New York, NY (Lower Manhattan) Onsite Position

Summary: As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in a community health center setting, you will provide professional nursing care to a diverse patient population while supporting both physical and psychosocial needs. You will work collaboratively with providers and the multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care. This role emphasizes inclusive care practices, strong clinical support, and adherence to established healthcare standards and regulations.

Schedule / Shift:

• Day shift
• Hours per week: 40

Key Duties:

• Provide direct patient care including vital signs, assessments, medication administration, and treatments under RN supervision
• Assist with examinations, procedures, diagnostic testing, and maintain accurate patient records
• Educate patients and families on care plans, treatments, and self-care practices
• Maintain a safe, hygienic clinical environment and adhere to infection control protocols
• Collaborate with clinical team members and support patient flow, documentation, and care coordination

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

Licenses & Certifications:

• Current New York State Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
• BLS CPR Certification

Skills:

• Strong clinical and patient care skills in a ambulatory or clinic setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
