Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive intake and psychosocial assessments to evaluate patient needs and challenges.

• Develop and present tailored treatment plans to the Clinical Drug and Alcohol Recovery Programs (CDRP/S) treatment team, facilitating discussions on recommendations and necessary revisions.

• Engage in proactive participation during clinical case conferences, sharing insights and collaborating with team members to ensure optimal care strategies are developed.
\n
• Deliver educational lectures focused on chemical dependency, equipping patients and their families with crucial information on coping mechanisms and recovery strategies.
\n
• Provide individualized and group counseling services aimed at addressing chemical dependency, utilizing evidence-based practices to support recovery.
\n
• Facilitate therapy sessions for adolescents, significant others, families, and multi-family groups as assigned, ensuring holistic support for clients.
\n
• Offer comprehensive case management services, including resource navigation and referrals to community services, enhancing patients’ support systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily involve working with individuals encountering various stages of chemical dependency, including those seeking detoxification services. You will provide compassionate support to adults and adolescents, elevating their emotional well-being while guiding them through evidence-based treatment pathways. Your efforts will significantly impact their recovery journey, promoting long-term health and rehabilitation.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in social work (MSW) or a closely related field is required.

• Possession of an active LCSW license in the state of Oregon is mandatory.

• At least two (2) years of post-graduate experience in supervised addiction medicine therapy within the last five (5) years is essential.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience in a detox or chemical dependency treatment setting is highly desirable. Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing will be beneficial. Additionally, experience with multi-disciplinary teams and tools for documenting patient care will be advantageous.
