Job Title: Medical Device Assembler (1st Shift)

Pay Rate: $17.00/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Duration: Temporary-to-Hire

Position Summary

The Medical Device Assembler is responsible for assembling precision medical components in a clean manufacturing environment while following detailed work instructions and quality standards. This position requires excellent hand dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to perform repetitive assembly tasks using manual and semi-automated equipment. The ideal candidate is dependable, quality-focused, and eager to learn new manufacturing processes.

Essential Responsibilities

• Assemble small medical device components according to written procedures and production specifications.
• Perform manual assembly operations using hand tools, fixtures, and specialized manufacturing equipment.
• Operate semi-automated production equipment following established procedures and training.
• Inspect components and finished products using visual inspection techniques and measuring tools to ensure quality standards are met.
• Identify and separate nonconforming parts during in-process and final inspections.
• Accurately complete production records and maintain required documentation.
• Meet daily production goals while maintaining a high level of quality and accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company procedures.
• Cross-train on additional assembly processes and assist other production areas as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, assembly, or machine operation experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work with small, delicate components requiring precision and attention to detail.
• Ability to learn new equipment and manufacturing processes.
• Comfortable performing repetitive tasks while maintaining consistent quality.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods throughout the workday.
