Employee Benefits Specialist

Managing the lifecycle of various benefit plans, the full-time Benefits Operations Specialist will oversee the creation, maintenance, and closure of Flexible Benefits, Health Reimbursement Arrangements, and Health Savings Accounts while working remotely. Key responsibilities Serve as an internal resource to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to benefit plans and employer configurations Create, update, and maintain participant plans, employer account balances, and process relevant demographic and enrollment files Identify trends to improve plan administration and ensure timely resolution of requests from internal and external departments Required qualifications Strong understanding of benefit products, systems, and technical aspects related to benefits administration Experience in handling tier 3 escalations and resolving account discrepancies Knowledge of HIPAA policies and adherence to security protocols Ability to facilitate peer training and participate in ongoing learning opportunities Proven track record of maintaining quality and performance metrics in a remote work environment
