Job Title: Welder (MIG) – Climate Controlled Facility

Location: Tulsa, OK
Pay: $20.93 per hour plus 11.5% shift differential
Shift: 2nd Shift - Monday - Thursday 3:30PM to 2:00AM | Weekend Shift - Friday - Sunday 6:00AM - 6:00PM

HireCall is seeking experienced Welders for a great Tulsa manufacturing company with a clean, climate-controlled facility. This is an excellent opportunity for welders with 1–3 years of experience who are looking to grow their skills in a stable, team-oriented environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Set up and weld components for sheet metal products using MIG (primary) and TIG (as needed)
• Secure parts using fixtures, jigs, and holding tables
• Work with carbon steel, stainless steel, and exotic metals
• Read and interpret blueprints to meet precise specifications
• Use precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges)
• Troubleshoot weld issues and maintain high-quality standards

Weld Test Requirements

Candidates must complete a weld test that includes:

• Written portion: Weld symbols and shop math (including fractions)

• Practical test: 3G MIG weld with backer plate

Required Qualifications

• Experience with MIG welding

• Experience with TIG is a plus

• Fitter/Welder experience is a plus

• Read and interpret blueprints to meet precise specification

• Ability to pass a MIG weld test

• Basic shop math skills including fractions

• Understanding of voltage and amperage adjustments for welding equipment

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent

• Ability to pass a background check

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 lbs

• Must be comfortable standing and walking for extended periods (8+ hours)

• Frequent bending, kneeling, crouching, and stooping

• Ability to work at elevated heights from ladders, scaffolding, or aerial platforms

• Ability to work in varying temperatures when required

• Willingness to work overtime as needed
