Manager, Sr. Systems Analyst

The Manager, Sr. Systems Analyst will collaborate with IT and customer teams at all levels to identify, assess, operate and drive continuous improvement of technology and service delivery solutions that achieve business operational outcomes and strategic goals with a focus on enterprise procurement and source-to-pay platforms (SAP Ariba). The Manager will coordinate across various shared services groups within IT and other functions to successfully analyze, align, integrate, operate, optimize, document, and enable new capabilities for Otsuka and our affiliates. The Sr. Systems Analyst core responsibilities include:

Qualifications Knowledge/ Experience and Skills: Minimum of 5 years of Life Sciences experience required, with 2+ years in supporting specific function area(s) in an IT technology or service delivery role. Experience supporting or implementing procurement, source-to-pay, or supplier management platforms (e.g., SAP Ariba) is strongly preferred. Insights and knowledge of leading technology trends and best practices which are improving the processes and operational effectiveness in supported areas. Working knowledge of key processes within the relevant technology/service delivery area and various regulations governing the pharmaceutical industry. Broad business and IT capability awareness with hands on experience using or implementing functional area/domain specific solutions. Experience working with globally distributed business and IT teams, especially in Japan, EU and India. Technical analyst skills including process design, documentation, problem solving, and presentation skills with the ability to influence all levels including senior leadership. Success in delivering new technology/service delivery capabilities using system development life cycle (SDLC) practices. Up to 5-10% travel is required, based upon business needs. Educational Qualifications Minimum of a bachelor's degree; preferably, a degree in Computer Science, Engineering or adjacent fields. Advanced degree in in sciences, business administration, or pharmaceuticals is desirable.
