HR Generalist

Job Description Are you a people-first HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? One of Robert Half's clients is seeking an HR Generalist to support a broad range of human resources functions, with an immediate emphasis on full-cycle recruiting and talent acquisition. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing day-to-day HR responsibilities while helping attract and onboard the skilled talent needed to keep operations running smoothly. Must be located within a commutable distance to the west side of Madison! Responsibilities Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts for manufacturing, operations, and support roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, coordinating offers, and onboarding new hires. Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, develop recruiting strategies, and fill positions in a timely and effective manner. Support general HR functions such as employee relations, policy administration, performance management, and HR compliance. Maintain accurate employee records and assist with HRIS updates, reporting, and other administrative processes. Coordinate onboarding activities to ensure new employees have a positive start and are prepared for success in a manufacturing setting. Assist with initiatives that support employee engagement, retention, training, and overall workforce planning. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. 2+ years of HR experience, with direct recruiting experience strongly preferred. Experience supporting hiring within manufacturing, distribution, industrial, or other fast-paced operational environments preferred. Working knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, employee relations, and onboarding processes. Experience using an HRIS and applicant tracking system; familiarity with high-volume recruiting is a plus. Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. #J-18808-Ljbffr
