Insurance Verification Specialist

We are seeking a Full-Time Insurance verification/scheduling individual to add to our growing practice. Must be able to work cooperatively with staff and perform a variety of tasks. Responsible for Verification of medical benefits which includes contacting private insurance companies, and Medicare/Medicaid to obtain benefit information on all patients (by phone and/or electronically), perform data entry, scheduling, and assist with posting payments. In addition, will be involved with welcoming patients to our center, and assist in checking them in for a procedure. No nights, holidays, or weekends.
Education/Experience:
- Must possess a High School diploma/GED
- Minimum of 1 year experience in an ambulatory center preferred
- Maintains strict strict confidentiality and adheres to all HIPPA guidelines and regulations
- Strong computer skills
