Job Description
Registered Nurse - MS/Tele

Schedule

Night shift, 3x12-hour (19:00 - 07:00)

Assignment Details

Ratios: Day/Eve ratios are 5 to 1 (stretch 6-7); Night ratios are expected to be 6-7 to 1 (stretch 8-10 if staff calls in).

Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required
• Mandatory competency with phlebotomy and IV placement
• BLS certification required
• Ability to float to MS, ICU, and ED as needed
• Proficiency in Epic preferred
• Must have skills in the interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, peripheral line care, nasal cannula usage, oxygen face masks, portable oxygen tanks, non-invasive airway management, and isolation precautions
• Experience with patient diagnoses related to cardiac and stroke
• Comfortable using hoyer lifts

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care to patients in the MS/Tele unit
• Monitor patient progress and administer medications as prescribed
• Perform routine assessments and maintain accurate patient records
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver effective patient care
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and monitor vital signs
• Participate in rapid response team activities when necessary
