Retail Sales Merchandiser

Position Overview Keep our communities fed. As a Merchandiser with Davidson Specialty Foods, you will become a key part of ensuring that local grocery stores have stocked shelves and can continue to supply their consumers. Job Description Pay: $19 - $22/hr (per experience) Job Type: Full-Time Territory: Boston Metro, including Hyde Park, Woburn, Malden, Waltham, Jamaica Plain, Revere, Lexington, and surrounding areas Schedule 5-day work week (flexibility needed, weekends/holidays) Flexible start times: 7:00 am-3:30 pm; 8:00 am-4:00 pm; 9:00 am-5:00 pm Responsibilities Travel daily to local grocery stores and supermarkets in the assigned territory Assist with new display setups and reset existing displays of product Pack grocery orders when needed Follow planograms to adjust shelves and move inventory accordingly Clean, straighten, and organize shelves Remain accountable to completion of work by assigned due dates Travel required for transport to and from work Travel/Mobility required: Yes Benefits Paid training provided Weekly pay Travel reimbursement Mileage reimbursement Tuition reimbursement Benefits available from day 1 (medical, dental, vision, company-matched 401k) PTO and holiday pay offered Career progression opportunities Employee health & wellness program Employee discounts / purchasing programs Employee assistance program Work Environment Office temperature: 65-75 F Store temperature: 65-75 F Travel: on the road Candidate Qualifications Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of whole numbers Ability to manage difficult or emotional customer situations and respond promptly to customer needs Willingness to solicit customer feedback to improve service Communication skills including speaking clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations Capability to read and interpret written information and comprehend simple instructions Shift 1st Shift (United States of America) Qualifications General Equivalency Diploma or General Studies, High School Diploma or General Studies.
