Schedule/Shift
Night shift, 3x12 hours (18:30 - 07:00). Weekends as needed.
Job Description
The Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will provide critical respiratory care to patients in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing care plans, and implementing effective respiratory treatments. The therapist may float to various Cleveland Clinic facilities as needed, including Avon, Euclid, Fairview, Lutheran, and the Pulmonary Main Campus.
Responsibilities
- Perform respiratory assessments and evaluations of patients.
- Administer respiratory therapies and follow treatment plans.
- Maintain and troubleshoot ventilators and other respiratory equipment.
- Document patient care in the charting system accurately.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide optimal patient care.
Required Experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) is required.
Certifications/Licensure
- Active RRT certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at time of submission.
- Ohio RRT license required and must be in hand at time of submission.
