Embark on a fulfilling contract opportunity working as a 1:1 paraprofessional supporting elementary students in autistic support classrooms. Multiple positions are available for an immediate start, providing you with a chance to make a substantial impact in a school setting near Norristown, PA.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Experience as a school paraprofessional, preferably in 1:1 or elementary settings
• Familiarity or prior work with students on the autism spectrum strongly preferred
• Patience, adaptability, and a nurturing approach
• Dependable team contributor with strong communication abilities
• Willingness to collaborate with teachers and other staff to implement student programs
• Ability to adhere to school schedule and guidelines

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct, individualized support for assigned students to help them access curriculum and achieve educational goals
• Assist students with daily activities, both academic and social, according to their unique needs
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
• Support classroom teachers with behavior management and instructional modifications
• Encourage students’ independence and social skills development
• Ensure student safety and report progress or concerns to appropriate personnel

Schedule & Details:

• Contracts available for eight paraprofessional positions
• Start times range from 7:30am to 8:00am, with end times between 2:30pm and 3:00pm, depending on the specific school assignment
• Elementary aged students in autistic support programs
• Expedited hiring— interviews available between 9:00 am and 12:00 pm
