Join a dynamic local manufacturing team in Fresno, CA as an Accounting Clerk and play a vital role in maintaining our financial integrity. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly rate of $20-27 and a Monday through Friday schedule, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, providing a stable and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately post cash receipts, manage remote deposits, and oversee collections processes.
• Set up new customer accounts with attention to detail and compliance.
• Verify transaction details to ensure accurate invoice processing, disbursements, and payments.
• Prepare and reconcile financial statements, ensuring all account activity is correctly recorded.
• Investigate discrepancies, resolve account issues, and issue necessary adjustments.
• Maintain thorough and organized financial records, supporting internal audits and compliance.
• Uphold internal controls to safeguard financial data and prevent fraud.
• Contribute to team success through collaborative efforts and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Familiarity with credit insurance protocols and collections strategies is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Proficiency in basic accounting principles and ledger management.
