Business Development Assistant

Felix Storch, Inc. (FSI) is a privately held manufacturer and distributor of major appliances. As Accucold is experiencing fast-paced growth, we are seeking a Business Development Assistant to join our team and serve as an important link between our sales organization, internal departments, and channel partners. The position is expected to develop into a trusted contributor who can determine the necessary next steps, engage the appropriate people, and see the work through to completion.

This is a full-time, on-site role be based in our Bronx, NY facility.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support to the Revenue Operations team.
• Triage and respond to customer inquiries by phone and email, research and communicate product availability, inventory, status, pricing, specifications, and other information needed to support customers and sales activity.
• Assist with new account setup, account maintenance, and customer documentation.
• Update and maintain information in spreadsheets and customer portals

• Prepare project updates, reports, presentations, and other supporting materials.

• Support trade shows, meetings, training activities, and other company or industry events as needed.
• Research customers, competitors, market activity, and industry information to support sales initiatives.

• Other related duties as assigned

Skills & Qualifications

• College Degree, Business or Science Major preferred
• One or more years of professional experience in sales support, customer service, project coordination, sales operations, business administration, or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and take ownership of assignments.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Experience with Oracle or NetSuite a plus
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets, reports, presentations, business correspondence, and other documentation.
• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in a manufacturing, distribution, medical, healthcare, pharmaceutical, laboratory, or life-science environment is helpful but not required.

Success in This Role

Success in this position means becoming a dependable team resource for the Accucold sales organization and its customers. Within the first several months, the successful candidate should be increasingly comfortable handling customer and sales-support activities independently, coordinating projects across departments, resolving routine issues, and identifying opportunities to improve how work gets done.

Rate of pay : $24-$24.50 hourly, commensurate with education and experience.

Job Type: Full-time Mon - Fri, 9am-5pm

Our headquarters is located in the Hunts Point section of the Bronx with facilities in Edison, NJ and Freehold, NJ. We are a manufacturer and distributor of major appliances, including vaccine, healthcare and life science refrigeration. We are adding staff to handle our recent growth, and the anticipated growth from the largest product expansion in our history.
